Terra Incognito

While birds are the subject of most of the images posted on my Flickr site, I have also long been interested in abstract photography. This image falls into that category. In a recent trip to the mountains of western North Carolina, I came across an old urn that had been setting outside for decades. The weathering of the piece created the rich colors and textures that caught my eye.
