While waiting for a train to London a few years backI spent a couple of hours exploring the architectural charms of the Carlisle train station. This imagein particularpossesses many of the elements of design that I admire united achieved by repetition of form doors and windowscolor dominance of cools and neutralswith contrasting intense reds. Shapescolorsvaluesgestures they all seem marvelously balanced in this scene.
